On Saturday, June 6th

Over 40 million Cinemax Latin America viewers, ranging from Mexico to Argentina, including Brazil, will enjoy the IFF Panama special program that this prestigious international media company produced during the fourth edition of the International Film Festival of Panama (IFF Panama).

The special, which will premiere on Saturday, June 6th at 17:45 Panama time, will also air throughout the month of June on Cinemax, one of the most important cable television channels of the HBO media group. After June, when the special will transmit more intensively, the program will continue to televise until the end of December, 2015.

The Cinemax production team, comprised of professionals from Brazil and Venezuela, covered in great detail the IFF Panama events, including the opening and closing galas, screenings of over 70 films, interviews with directors, actors and special guests, audience Q and A sessions, workshops and parties. Almost 29,000 people participated in the various IFF Panama activities.

Cinemax also covered the context in which IFF Panama takes place, with special attention to the tourism destinations in Panama City, from the Casco Viejo – the historic sector of the city – to the Panama Canal, as well as the Las Perlas Islands and its world famous Contadora Island.

Cinemax regularly prepares specials from the most important film festivals in the world, including Cannes, San Sebastian, Venice, Berlin and Toronto. The IFF Panama leadership considers it a great honor that Cinemax has chosen to cover IFF Panama as part of their Latin American programming.

The fifth edition of IFF Panama will take place April 7 thru 13, 2016.
